Absent top WWE star, not Charlotte Flair, winning Women's Royal Rumble could be fun, says analyst
Many top WWE names have competed in the Women's Royal Rumble over the past few years. A WWE analyst recently claimed a superstar returning from a long absence to win next year's match could be fun.
The star in question is none other than Alexa Bliss. The Goddess last competed nearly two years ago when she lost to Bianca Belair in a RAW Women's Championship match at the 2023 Royal Rumble premium live event. She has since been absent on maternity leave. However, many have recently been speculating about her potential return.
On the Cheap Heat podcast, Peter Rosenberg addressed his co-host Bryan Diperstein's suggestion that Bliss should return to win the 2025 Women's Royal Rumble. The 45-year-old WWE analyst claimed The Goddess winning the upcoming Women's Royal Rumble could be fun:
"[I'd love to see it be Bliss] A returning Bliss could be fun," he said. [43:11 - 43:12]
Peter Rosenberg thinks another WWE star will win the 2025 Women's Royal Rumble
While Peter Rosenberg was excited about the idea of Alexa Bliss returning to win the Women's Royal Rumble next year, he predicted on the same episode of Cheap Heat that Charlotte Flair would be the winner.
The Queen has also been absent since 2023. She last wrestled in December last year when she suffered several serious knee injuries in a match against Asuka on SmackDown. Although Rosenberg thinks she would win the Royal Rumble, he suggested she would not be a surprise entry. Instead, the WWE personality claimed The Queen would return before the premium live event:
"I guess [it will be Flair]. But Charlotte's gonna be back before that, I bet, so it wouldn't be like a surprise return," he said.
It would be interesting to see if Bliss and Flair would return ahead of the anticipated premium live event scheduled for February 1st.
