An absent WWE Superstar reacted to Roman Reigns' heartbreaking message ahead of tonight's edition of SmackDown. The Original Tribal Chief is scheduled to appear during tonight's show in Orlando, Florida.
Roman Reigns' father, Sika Anoa'i, passed away earlier this year in June. The legend was a part of The Wild Samoans tag team with Afa Anoa'i. It was announced earlier today that Afa Anoa'i passed away, and Roman Reigns took to social media to share a heartfelt message about his uncle.
Natalya reacted to The Head of the Table's post and stated that the legacy of The Wild Samoans will live on forever.
"The Hart family has so much love for your family. Reflecting on the incredible life Afa lived and what an amazing family man he was. May The Wild Samoan’s legacy in wrestling burn brightly FOREVER," she wrote.
Natalya has not competed in a match since her victory over Izzi Dame on the June 4 edition of NXT. The veteran's contract was rumored to expire this summer, but she has reportedly reached a new deal with WWE.
Vince Russo questions Roman Reigns' attack on The Bloodline on WWE SmackDown
Roman Reigns took out Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa of The Bloodline as Solo Sikoa retreated at the end of last Friday's edition of WWE SmackDown, and Vince Russo believes the segment was a mistake.
Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Legion of RAW podcast, Russo stated that the new version of The Bloodline will never stack up to the original faction. The veteran claimed they were not given enough time to develop, and Roman Reigns has already diminished their momentum.
"The normal fans, the normal people like you and I, are in the minority. It doesn't matter because the marks that watch this show are simply going to put everything and anything over. We said it months and months and months ago, this new Bloodline was definitely a step back from the original Bloodline. They were the B-Team. They were nothing more. There was no heat, we never got to know these guys on an individual basis. Now, Roman has laid them out [on] back-to-back shows," Russo said. [From 15:35 onwards]
