"Absolute backbone" - 4-time WWE champion speaks highly of Paul Heyman's contributions

WWE Hall of Famer Paul Heyman has spent decades in professional wrestling and widely contributed to the industry. Recently, Ronda Rousey spoke highly of the former Wiseman's contributions to the industry and in her professional life.

In an interview with CBS Sport, the former RAW, Women's Champion spoke highly of Paul Heyman's contributions to professional wrestling.

"I feel like he's the absolute backbone of that entire industry. People don't see the backbone. It is hidden underneath the body, but he is literally everyone's mentor. Every successful storyline has its roots back into him. I think the industry would be a shell of itself without him," Rousey said.

The Rowdy One also detailed how The Wiseman pushed her creatively to pursue new opportunities.

"They should feel so lucky to have his time because he could spend that genius on anything else. But he spends 100% of his time and energy on the WWE. He is the person who encouraged me creatively. He really believed I am so much more than what my body can do," Rousey said. [H/T: CBS Sports]

Solo Sikoa breaks silence after attacking Paul Heyman on WWE SmackDown

The landscape of WWE changed when Solo Sikoa removed Jimmy Uso and forcefully took over The Bloodline with Tama Tonga. Later, Tonga Loa joined the fray under Sikoa's leadership.

The Bloodline became more dangerous when the new Tribal Chief introduced Jacob Fatu to the WWE Universe. However, Paul Heyman kept the hopes alive for Roman Reigns' return.

Meanwhile, Solo Sikoa shattered The Wiseman's hopes when he presented Roman Reigns' Ula Fala and asked Heyman to accept him as his new Tribal Chief of The Bloodline.

After Paul Heyman denied Sikoa's order, The Bloodline decimated the veteran and wrote him off television. After the show, Solo Sikoa addressed the beatdown and sent a message.

"A day that Madison Square Garden will never forget. #AcknowledgeMe," Sikoa wrote.
