Adam Pearce is accused of mismanagement by former WWE champion in surprising rant
Adam Pearce has one of the hardest jobs in WWE as he looks to maintain order on RAW every week. Now, it seems that there are some things that could have slipped under the radar.
Following his heel turn, Xavier Woods recently questioned Pearce about whether it would be 70 days before Finn Balor defends the World Tag Team Championship if he was able to win the World Heavyweight Championship at Saturday Night's Main Event. Pearce quipped back that Woods lost his last tag team match in 30 seconds.
Woods responded to note that there was clear mismanagement in the Tag Team Division on WWE RAW. He also said that Pearce only wants to rectify the situation when it suits him. The Judgment Day has had only one title defense in 70 days and The New Day wanted a shot at the titles again, something that Pearce wasn't willing to give.
Adam Pearce has announced a World Tag Team Title match this week on RAW
Despite being the man at the helm of RAW, Adam Pearce has upper management to answer to every week. He is also competing with Nick Aldis over on SmackDown since he has been able to control his brand quite well after he was appointed the General Manager.
Adam Pearce has to keep a lot of stars happy on the red brand and it seems that there will always be a few who are unhappy with his methods. Finn Balor and JD McDonagh are being forced to defend their titles this week on RAW, but given their recent heel turn it's easy to see The New Day interfering and gaining several more enemies.
There was once a rule about titles being defended every 30 days in WWE, but it seems that this rule is only enforced when needed in the storyline. At present, the lack of defenses seems to be helping to get Balor over as a bigger heel.
