Adam Pearce addresses "ridiculous" Twitter claims following Bronson Reed's brutal WWE RAW attackĀ
The SummerSlam fallout episode of RAW featured several surprising moments. Adam Pearce was present at the show last night and was able to give a medical update on Seth Rollins after he was brutally assaulted by Bronson Reed. It was noted that he was taken to hospital following the assault.
Following the show, fans have been questioning why Pearce wasn't there to stop the attack on Rollins, since Reed may have listened to the RAW General Manager over the officials who were pushing for him to stop.
Pearce has since taken to social media to address these claims, noting that he was backstage escorting Drew McIntyre out of the building so that he could avoid another fight between the two men in a public place.
Pearce seemed irate following RAW since a lot was going on and he was forced to step in to sort it all out. After all, it was his conversation with Reed that led to Rollins being assaulted by the 330lb star.
The Aussie star wanted to know why Sheamus was handed a match on RAW this week when he had beaten him last week, something that Pearce was seemingly unable to answer. This led to Reed looking to make his own opportunities.
Will Bronson Reed be punished for his attack on Seth Rollins on WWE RAW?
Bronson Reed's attack was unprovoked and it seemed that it took place when Pearce was busy. However, following this social media rant, there has been nothing to say that Reed will be punished for the attack.
Since Reed didn't assault any officials and he was only attacking an active WWE Superstar, there is no reason for Pearce to step in to hand out fines and suspensions. Seth Rollins will likely want to exact revenge on Bronson Reed when he's fit and ready to fight again.
