Adam Pearce issues an apology after WWE RAW; immediately deletes it

Adam Pearce has issued an apology after this week's WWE RAW to two on-screen personalities in a now-deleted tweet. Pearce apologized to Rod Zapata and Danilo Anfibio after Drew McIntyre refused to do it on the Monday Night Show.

The Scottish Warrior assaulted Zapata and Anfibio in the aftermath of Money in the Bank 2024, where he failed to cash in his MITB briefcase thanks to CM Punk's interference. Soon after, Adam Pearce suspended McIntyre for his heinous actions.

On the latest episode of WWE RAW, Pearce gave Drew McIntyre a chance to get his suspension revoked by apologizing to Rod Zapata and Danilo Anfibio.

McIntyre, however, was in no mood to do so and instead shoved the two referees down. He was about to then lay his hands on Adam Pearce himself but Seth Rollins made the save in time. Now, after RAW, Pearce took to Twitter to respond to one of Drew McIntyre's tweets and write that he apologized to Zapata and Anfibio himself after The Scottish Warrior refused to make amends.

However, the RAW General Manager quickly deleted the tweet.

"I wanted them to use a picture of you being accountable for your actions but…By the way, I personally apologize to referees Rod Zapata and Danilo Anfibio for what happened after Money in the Bank," wrote Pearce.

CM Punk will return to WWE RAW next week

The ongoing feud between Drew McIntyre and CM Punk is sure to get more heated as WWE recently announced the latter would appear at next week's RAW.

Though apologizing to Rod Zapata and Danilo Anfibio would have made McIntyre's path to get a match against Punk at SummerSlam 2024 clear, a contest between the two could still materialize for The Biggest Party of the Summer.

Moreover, while the inclusion of Seth Rollins in the rivalry has made things more compelling, some have criticized WWE for the unnecessary addition. It remains to be seen how things pan out next week on WWE RAW and if CM Punk and Drew McIntyre will have a verbal showdown in front of Wisconsin fans.
