Adam Pearce makes a blockbuster announcement after WWE RAW - "It's time to celebrate"

Adam Pearce made a major announcement following this week's edition of WWE RAW that's sure to get the fans buzzing. The RAW General Manager has revealed that he would dedicate an entire episode of the Monday Night show to celebrate The New Day completing ten years in the Stamford-based promotion.

There's no denying that the trio of Kofi Kingston, Big E, and Xavier Woods are some of the most beloved performers in WWE history. Though they started as a heel faction, the fans grew to like them, eventually turning them into babyfaces.

While a serious neck injury has kept Big E away from action since 2022, Kingston and Woods have continued to make an impact week in and week out. The duo were even in action on the latest edition of RAW, where they suffered a heartbreaking loss to the resurgent War Raiders. This was also due to the growing miscommunication between Kingston and Woods in recent weeks.

In a post-show segment, Adam Pearce met with Kofi Kingston and discussed The New Day completing 10 years as a faction. He told Kingston that he was set to dedicate an entire episode of RAW to celebrate the big milestone.

"This year, ten years as New Day. It’s time to celebrate, man. You guys are one of the most decorated tag teams in WWE history. Because of that, if it’s cool with guys, I actually wanted to dedicate a special episode of RAW to celebrating you. An entire episode, if it’s cool with you guys," Adam Pearce said. (H/T - Fightful)

Big E on The New Day potentially splitting up in WWE

A few months back, in an interview, Big E addressed the possibility of The New Day breaking up and all its members going their separate ways. The former WWE Champion stated that though Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods could offer a lot more as a duo, he wouldn't be against the idea of them chasing singles success.

"I feel like this is something they need to go through. Something they need to handle it as well and figure it out. Kofi's in his 40s now, and Woods is in his late 30s. I still think they have a ton more to offer, and whether they do that as a collective? Whether they do that as singles? I feel it's an interesting time for them to see which direction they would go," E said.

It remains to be seen what WWE has in store for The New Day, as differences between Woods and Kingston are sure to lead to something drastic.
