Adam Pearce makes major announcement ahead of WWE RAW
Adam Pearce made a major announcement ahead of tonight's episode of WWE RAW. This week's edition of WWE RAW is the first show following SummerSlam and will air live from Baltimore, Maryland.
Ahead of tonight's show, WWE shared a new video with Adam Pearce, and the RAW General Manager made a major announcement. He revealed that the first hour of tonight's edition of the red brand will be commercial-free.
Pearce added that The Wyatt Sicks will battle Chad Gable and The Creed Brothers in tonight's main event, and SmackDown stars A-Town Down (Grayson Waller and Austin Theory) will be in action tonight on RAW.
"Couple of tidbits, the first hour tonight is completely commercial-free. And don't forget your main event, Chad Gable and The Creed Brothers will oppose the Wyatt Sicks in a 6-man tag. First time on RAW in action tonight from Baltimore. Plus, all of your SummerSlam fallout, and just a little wheeling and dealing between me and my buddy "Tricky" Nick Aldis, part of that will include A-Town Down Under, live and in action tonight," said Pearce. Vince Russo compares Wyatt Sicks to failed WWE faction
Wrestling legend Vince Russo recently compared the Wyatt Sicks to Retribution.
The failed faction debuted in 2020 and was quickly disbanded after failing to gain any momentum with the WWE Universe. Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Legion of RAW show, Vince Russo claimed the promotion likely spent a lot of money on the Wyatt Sicks and suggested that the group is going to wind up like Retribution down the line.
"Think about the money they have spent on this. They have spent more money on this by far than anything else, and all you’re gonna have is... Retribution. That's it. It’s a Retribution replay, bro. That’s all it is." [From 1:03:28]
