Adam Pearce, Mandy Rose, Matt Cardona and others react to former WWE champion's emotional update

Several current and former WWE personalities including Adam Pearce, Mandy Rose, and Matt Cardona recently took to social media to react to a former Divas Champion's emotional update. The name in question is The Miz's wife, Maryse.

The 41-year-old joined WWE in 2006 and started training at the company's then-developmental territory, Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW). Maryse made her first official televised appearance on the main roster in 2007 and went on to make a mark by winning the WWE Divas Championship twice. The star still makes sporadic appearances on television alongside her husband, The Miz, whom she married in 2014.

Maryse recently took to Instagram to share an emotional update regarding her and The A-Lister's daughter, Madison, who will soon turn five. In her post's caption, the former Divas Champion showcased her love for Madison.

"I can’t believe my baby is turning 5 in less than a week!!! Madison we ❀️ you so much!!! πŸ’—πŸ’—πŸ’—," she wrote.

Former WWE Divas Champion Maryse also shared another personal update

In February 2024, Maryse revealed that she was diagnosed with a very rare pre-cancer of the ovaries. After her surgery, the star took to Instagram to share a positive update.

She wrote that Pathology confirmed that her disease had not spread and she was now tumor-free.

"As you know, 2 weeks ago I went in to surgery to have my ovaries/uterus/tubes/cervix/omentum removed. I also had staging (removal) of the lymph nodes in my abdomen to see if the disease had spread. Pathology confirmed that it had not which is amazing news! More amazing news is that I am tumor free!"

The former Divas Champion added that her case was so rare that it only affected seven out of a million women in the US. She also thanked her doctor and the medical team.

Maryse has not stepped inside the squared circle for quite some time. Her last match was in a mixed tag team action alongside The Miz against Edge and Beth Phoenix. It will be interesting to see if the star will ever return to in-ring action in the future.
