Adam Pearce reacts after CM Punk officially joins the OG Bloodline for Survivor Series: WarGames 2024

WWE RAW General Manager Adam Pearce recently shared his reaction to CM Punk's shocking return to television on this week's SmackDown. On the November 22 edition of the blue brand, The Best in The World joined forces with the OG Bloodline for the upcoming Men's WarGames Match at the Survivor Series: WarGames PLE.

While many fans expected Seth Rollins to team up with Roman Reigns and his team against Solo Sikoa's Bloodline, WWE pulled off a major surprise. Paul Heyman made his long-awaited return on SmackDown, where he introduced Punk as the fifth member of Team Roman for the upcoming Men's WarGames Match.

The Second City Saint will join Reigns, The Usos, and Sami Zayn to battle it out against Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and ''Big'' Bronson Reed at next week's premium live event. The wrestling world has been buzzing with the shocking turn of events, and now Adam Pearce has reacted to the development.

The RAW GM took to X (Twitter) to respond to a post shared by WWE that confirmed CM Punk joining the OG Bloodline for Survivor Series: WarGames 2024.

"It is official," Pearce wrote.

Vince Russo is unhappy with CM Punk joining the OG Bloodline for WarGames

On the latest edition of Sportskeeda Wrestling's BroDown, Vince Russo discussed how WWE having CM Punk join the OG Bloodline was a disservice to Seth Rollins.

He explained that since Rollins' rival, Bronson Reed, had joined Solo Sikoa's team, the former WWE Champion should have become the fifth member of Team Roman Reigns. Russo claimed the Triple H-led creative team buried The Visionary with its booking.

"Now with Punk being the fifth guy, what did they do? They buried Rollins. They one hundred percent buried their babyface. Bronson joined The Bloodline; they wind up sc***ing Rollins, and Rollins ain't gonna be in the match. So they one thousand percent sc***ed their babyface. It was so obvious. So now they pull CM Punk out of their backside to get the pop, but it makes zero sense storyline-wise," he said.

It remains to be seen if WWE finds a way to include Seth Rollins in The Bloodline saga in some form ahead of Survivor Series: WarGames 2024.
