Adam Pearce sends heartfelt message to Rhea Ripley
WWE RAW General Manager Adam Pearce sent a heartfelt message to Rhea Ripley ahead of tonight's episode of SmackDown. The Eradicator competed for the Women's World Championship this past Saturday at WWE Bad Blood.
Rhea Ripley celebrated her 28th birthday today and Adam Pearce sent her a heartfelt message on Instagram. The RAW GM shared a classic photo of the two in 2014, and noted that he was proud of the star Ripley has become. He also humorously told her to not puke on anyone's shoes, and you can check out Pearce's message on his Instagram story by clicking here.
"Proud of all you've become. Don't puke on anyone's shoes," wrote Pearce.
Rhea Ripley squared off against Liv Morgan in a Women's World Championship match at Bad Blood and Dominik Mysterio was locked inside a shark cage. Raquel Rodriguez made her shocking return and attacked Ripley to end the match via disqualification.
Rhea Ripley comments on betraying popular WWE star
Liv Morgan and Rhea Ripley used to be partners on WWE television. However, they have now become bitter enemies, and Ripley recently shared why she decided to turn her back on the 30-year-old in the past.
In an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda Wrestling, the former Judgment Day member noted that she used to trust her. However, she claimed that she sensed Morgan was going to betray her, so she decided to beat her to the punch.
"So I trusted her, until I started feeling like something bad was going to happen. I have been backstabbed by multiple partners prior to this, and I mean she has too. So we were both broken in the same ways and it was only about time that one of us were turning on the other. With us arguing, and us not getting along, and us losing our matches and her draining that killer side of me, and making me into this mushy little tag partner that she wanted, I felt like I was getting sculpted for a betrayal. So I thought I had to do it before she did," said Ripley. [4:18 onwards]
