Adam Pearce sends three-word message to Drew McIntyre following WWE RAW
WWE RAW General Manager Adam Pearce reached out to Drew McIntyre today on social media following an eventful episode of RAW. The Scottish Warrior had his suspension lifted during last night's show and is set for a marquee match at WWE SummerSlam on August 3.
Adam Pearce reinstated McIntyre from suspension last night after CM Punk confirmed he was medically cleared. The two stars will finally square off at the Premium Live Event next month, with Seth Rollins serving as the special guest referee.
Following last night's edition of WWE RAW, Pearce took to social media to share a three-word post along with an image of himself and McIntyre.
"Love somebody today ❤️🙏," he wrote.
The RAW General Manager also shared a throwback photo with CM Punk earlier today with the same message attached.
Former WWE writer suggests Drew McIntyre team up with two female stars
Wrestling legend Vince Russo recently pitched an interesting storyline idea for Drew McIntyre if AJ Lee happened to return to the company.
AJ Lee has not competed in a match in nine years, but NXT Women's Champion Roxanne Perez is still holding out hope that the 37-year-old returns to the company. Speaking on Sportskeeda's The Wrestling Outlaws show, Russo suggested McIntyre team up with The Unholy Union if AJ Lee returned to the company.
The veteran added that McIntyre would help elevate the current Women's Tag Team Champions and potentially help them become stars on the main roster.
"If AJ Lee comes in on her own and then Drew kinda uses these two as hitwomen, that can elevate them," Russo said. "That can definitely elevate them because right now they're the tag champs and they're not even on the radar. So Drew could elevate them, bro." [13:23 – 13:46]

The rivalry between Drew McIntyre and CM Punk has been going on for months. McIntyre took credit for injuring the former AEW star during the Men's Royal Rumble match in January and has continued to take shots at the 45-year-old as he recovered from a torn triceps. Only time will tell if Punk or McIntyre will emerge victorious in the highly-anticipated matchup at WWE SummerSlam next month.
