Adam Pearce shares update with star who debuted on SmackDown; potentially teases appearance
Adam Pearce shared an interesting update with a star who appeared on this past Friday's SmackDown ahead of tonight's episode of WWE RAW. This week's edition of the red brand will emanate from the Moda Center in Portland, Oregon.
WWE teased a mystery partner for Kevin Owens in a tag team match against A-Town Down Under (Grayson Waller and Austin Theory) for this past Friday's edition of SmackDown. The mystery partner was revealed to be Ricky (independent wrestling star Ricky Gibson), but Kevin Owens was quickly informed that Randy Orton was at the arena. Owens hit Ricky with a Stunner and went on to defeat A-Town Down Under with Orton as his tag team partner.
Ahead of tonight's show, RAW GM Adam Pearce shared a picture with Ricky, potentially teasing an appearance from the veteran later tonight.
The Judgment Day's Finn Balor and JD McDonagh are set to defend the World Tag Team Championships against The New Day tonight on RAW. CM Punk will be returning to WWE RAW tonight for the first time following the brutal attack by Drew McIntyre on September 2.
Sam Roberts wants Adam Pearce to add major stipulation to match at WWE Bad Blood
Media star Sam Roberts recently called for Adam Pearce to add a huge stipulation to the Hell in a Cell match between Drew McIntyre and CM Punk at Bad Blood next month.
Speaking on his Notsam Wrestling podcast, Roberts suggested the RAW General Manager add a stipulation to the match between McIntyre and Punk at the Premium Live Event next month. He stated that the loser of the match should be forced to leave RAW following Bad Blood on October 5.
"Whatever you do with this match, I say stipulation, not the rules. The stipulation is Loser Leaves RAW. That's the way to do this for me. There's no way, regardless of who wins, that one person would go, 'You know what? You won two out of three. So you're the better man.' That would never happen. I think Adam Pearce needs to make something declarative that says. 'I realize these two can't be on the same roster. So we're going to do Drew McIntyre and CM Punk in one more match. Only this time, loser leaves WWE RAW,'" said Sam Roberts. (10:50 - 11:32)
