Adam Pearce takes shot at suspended WWE star following RAW
RAW General Manager Adam Pearce has taken a shot at a major WWE Superstar today on social media. Pearce has been dealing with a lot of turmoil on the red brand in recent weeks.
Adam Pearce and Drew McIntyre have traded shots today on social media. Pearce regularly sends out "Love somebody today" on social media and McIntyre reacted to today's post by telling him to be a competent General Manager. The former NWA Champion responded by telling the Scotsman to be a man as seen in his post below.
"Be a man today ❤️🙏," he wrote.
Drew McIntyre won the Men's MITB Ladder Match and cashed in on the same night. However, CM Punk interfered and The Scottish Warrior lost his chance to become the World Heavyweight Champion. McIntyre went crazy following the match and accidentally caught Adam Pearce with an elbow to the face during the post-show for WWE Money in the Bank.
Pearce suspended McIntyre but gave him the chance to be reinstated if he apologized to the referees he assaulted at the premium live event earlier this month. The former World Heavyweight Champion refused and the General Manager of red brand informed him that his suspension still stands during this past Monday's episode of RAW.
ECW legend wants Drew McIntyre off of WWE television for a bit following Adam Pearce's decision
Wrestling legend Tommy Dreamer recently stated that he would like to see Drew McIntyre after Adam Pearce decided to suspend him.
Speaking on Busted Open Radio, Dreamer suggested McIntyre take some time off during the storyline. He noted that it will remind the WWE Universe of how important the veteran is to the show while he is away from RAW.
"I don't wanna see Drew McIntyre for a bit. I want him to go away so I'm reminded how important he is once he comes back," he said.
CM Punk has cost Drew McIntyre several opportunities to become champion in recent months. The 45-year-old is still out with a torn triceps he suffered in January during the Men's Royal Rumble match. It will be interesting to see what WWE has planned for the storyline between McIntyre and Punk in the weeks ahead.
