AEW star Buddy Matthews sends message to real-life wife and WWE star Rhea Ripley; labels her 'Best in the World'
AEW star Buddy Matthews recently took to social media to send a message to his real-life wife and WWE Superstar Rhea Ripley. The duo tied the knot in June 2024 amid The Eradicator's absence from television.
Ripley is currently one of the biggest faces of World Wrestling Entertainment. Since joining The Judgment Day and becoming the Women's World Champion, The Eradicator scaled new heights in the world of professional wrestling.
However, things have changed since she returned to television after recovering from an injury as her fearsome stable has now split into two groups. Finn Balor, Dominik Mysterio, Carlito, JD McDonagh, and Liv Morgan have formed the new Judgment Day. Meanwhile, Mami is sticking with Damian Priest.
AEW star Buddy Matthews, known as Buddy Murphy during his time in WWE, recently took to his Instagram Stories to upload a photo of Rhea Ripley. Matthews also sent a message to his wife, writing that she was the 'best dog Mami' in the world.
"The way she looks at her! Best Dog MAMI in the world!" he mentioned.

WWE star Rhea Ripley talked about her relationship with Buddy Matthews
During an interview with Denise Salcedo ahead of WWE SummerSlam 2024, Rhea Ripley talked about her relationship with Buddy Matthews after the duo got married.
Ripley said that everything was still the same between them and also mentioned that they felt an even stronger connection after tying the knot.
"So, not much has changed. We were pretty much married before the actual wedding. The only thing that has really changed is a feeling inside. It's a hard feeling to describe but it's a special connection that you have with that person, and he's the same. He's like, 'I feel safe. I feel genuinely like you love me and we're together and this is our forever,' so there's that, which is nice," said Ripley.
Many fans want Buddy Matthews to return to WWE and possibly join Rhea Ripley & Damian Priest's Judgment Day. It will be interesting to see if the Stamford-based promotion has planned something for Matthews' return.
