AEW star reveals he is proud of Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes

An All Elite Wrestling star recently shared that they were proud of Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes. The American Nightmare will be defending his title against Solo Sikoa this Saturday night at WWE SummerSlam.

Cody Rhodes' brother, Dustin Rhodes, teamed up with Ross and Marshall Von Erich to capture the ROH Six-Man Tag Team Championship at AEW Battle of the Belts XI. The trio also defeated The Dark Order at ROH Death Before Dishonor this past Friday night.

Speaking at the press conference following Death Before Dishonor, Dustin Rhodes stated that he was proud of his brother before discussing his love for All Elite Wrestling.

"I’m proud of Cody. He’s doing an amazing job. We’re over here kicking a**. I love it. I love being part of AEW. It’s the best place I’ve ever worked in my entire career. It’s incredible. I thank Tony (Khan) for that. I thank all the guys and girls. Everybody is sweet as pie and it’s a fun place to be," he said. [H/T: Fightful]

Eric Bischoff comments on Cody Rhodes possibly turning heel in WWE

Wrestling legend Eric Bischoff recently shared his thoughts on the idea of Cody Rhodes turning heel sometime in the future.

The 39-year-old has developed a connection with the WWE Universe and they sing his theme song every time he heads to the ring. Speaking with Sportskeeda Wrestling's Bill Apter in an exclusive interview, the veteran stated that Rhodes is doing great as a babyface, but noted that he watches wrestling to think about what could happen next.

"I'm watching, success, he's doing so well, but at some point something has to happen, and whether it's a different kind of babyface character or more of an anti-hero or just flat-out real heel, I don't know, but that's why I watch wrestling, to think about where things could go."
