After being brutally attacked on WWE SmackDown, Apollo Crews sends a daunting message to Giovanni Vinci
WWE Superstar Giovanni Vinci unleashed an attack on Apollo Crews after their match on last night's SmackDown. However, the former United States Champion has now sent a scathing message to the former Imperium member.
Two weeks ago, on the September 6, 2024, edition of the Friday Night Show, Vinci suffered a humiliating loss after Crews pinned him in less than ten seconds. The two men once again collided on last night's show.
The former NXT Tag Team Champion was poised to claim a victory over his opponent last night, but Apollo again had the last laugh. After the bout, the former Imperium member attacked the 37-year-old WWE star and delivered a Brainbuster in the middle of the ring.
During a SmackDown Exclusive interview with Byron Saxton, Apollo Crews expressed frustration with the 34-year-old star's behavior after their match. The former United States Champion criticized Giovanni Vinci's excuses, adding that he was ''dealing with a sore loser!''
"What was that message? What was the message, Byron? That he's a sore loser. That he can't take a loss? Two weeks ago, I beat him fair and square in the middle of the ring, and what does he do? He makes excuses, complains, and says, 'He wasn't ready. The bell rang!' Tonight, once again, I beat him fair and square in the middle of the ring. One, two, three. What does he do? He decides to attack me after the match. So yeah, I think we're dealing with a sore loser," he said.
Crews also mentioned that he was starting to feel a ''little angry!'' He also delivered a scathing message to Vinci, claiming that ''this was far from over.''
"But if I'm honest with you, Byron, I'm starting to feel [like I] got this bitter taste in my mouth. I'm starting to feel a little angry. So you wanna send me a message, Giovanni? Well, here's my message to you. This is far from over!" he added.

Top WWE star was worried about working with Apollo Crews
Fans witnessed an unexpected alliance of Apollo Crews and Baron Corbin on the blue brand after the latter moved to the WWE main roster.
In an interview with TV Insider, Baron Corbin admitted that he was initially skeptical about teaming up with the 37-year-old star after his successful run with Bron Breakker. However, Corbin admitted that he had started to embrace the new alliance, adding that he was excited about the future of the team.
"Coming from The Wolf Dogs with Bron Breakker. That was so good and fun. I was worried this team wouldn’t live up to that, but I think people are excited and having fun with that tag team. The fans are getting this new version of me and a fresh version of Apollo. It has been fun. I love Apollo. I think he is one of the best competitors. I look forward to seeing where the team goes," Corbin said.
Meanwhile, it will be interesting to see if WWE books a third match between Giovanni Vinci and Apollo Crews on the blue brand in the coming weeks.
