After Roman Reigns, another former Bloodline member potentially returning to WWE soon, says RAW star
Roman Reigns made his WWE return at SummerSlam 2024 and has single-handedly dominated the Solo Sikoa-led Bloodline on two occasions so far. Jey Uso recently addressed the imminent comeback of another former member of the legendary faction, Jimmy Uso.
Jimmy hasn't been seen on WWE programming since the SmackDown after WrestleMania XL. Sikoa had Tama Tonga attack him for his loss against Jey at The Show of Shows, kicking him out of The Bloodline in the process. While the real reason for Jimmy Uso's ouster from the faction was an undisclosed injury, recent reports indicate that he has been cleared for a return.
Speaking during his interview with Sports Illustrated, Jey Uso had some harsh words for Solo Sikoa. The RAW star then heaped praise on Jimmy and hyped up his return to the sports entertainment juggernaut.
"Solo needs his a** whupped. There's no doubt about that. And people are going to love Jimmy. He's the funniest guy I know, so much funnier than me. You've seen glimpses of what he can do on his own. Wait until you see his greatness. He's up next," Jey Uso said. [H/T Sports Illustrated]
Jey Uso has previously ruled out another tag team run in WWE
The Usos are one of the most decorated teams in WWE history, having won the tag titles eight times. However, Jimmy and Jey Uso might not compete as a duo again.
Jey recently revealed that he would rather continue as a singles wrestler than go back to being a tag team star. Speaking on the Busted Open podcast, he added that The Usos have already cemented their legacy and have nothing left to prove.
“If I could be honest right now, I would like to continue on my singles path right now. Me and my brother, we already [sic] the best tag team in WWE in history right now. That’s checked off," he said. [H/T: Wrestling INC]
It will be interesting to see how Jey and Jimmy are booked in the coming weeks, especially with Roman Reigns currently engaged in a feud with the new Bloodline.
