AJ Lee sends a message to CM Punk following major announcement
CM Punk recently signed a major non-WWE deal which caught the attention of his wife, AJ Lee. The former Divas Champion responded to Punk's post with a short message.
The Best in the World returned to the Stamford-based promotion at the Survivor Series: WarGames Premium Live Event last year. However, he suffered an injury during the 2024 Men's Royal Rumble Match and has been on the sidelines since then. Despite the setback, Punk remains one of the most popular stars of the company, and has often appeared on WWE programming in a non-wrestling role.
CM Punk recently signed a deal with Paradigm, one of the biggest talent agencies in the world. The 45-year-old star then made the announcement on Instagram, noting that he always wanted to do this. The Second City Saint added that AJ Lee told him he looked "hot" in the cover picture, which garnered a response from the former Divas Champion. AJ doubled down on her words, adding that she is always right.

WWE Superstar CM Punk commented on AJ Lee's potential return to pro wrestling
AJ Lee was one of the top female wrestlers of her time and played a major role in bringing the women's revolution to WWE. However, the former Divas Champion hung up her wrestling boots in 2015 due to injury issues.
CM Punk recently shared his thoughts on his wife's potential return to the squared circle, noting that while he would love to see her don her wrestling gear again, the chances of that happening are minimal.
"Probably not. I think there is [an open door]. Selfishly, I would love it. I'm her biggest fan. So, I love everything she does," CM Punk said.
AJ was a part of WWE for several years, during which she won the Divas Championship on three occasions. She left the global wrestling juggernaut in 2015 following CM Punk's controversial exit from the Stamford-based company. The 37-year-old returned to the pro wrestling world in 2021 as she joined the Women of Wrestling promotion as an executive producer. Lee also provided color commentary for WOW's syndicated weekly television program but ended up leaving the company last year following the expiration of her contract.
