AJ Styles sends a message amid WWE absence

WWE Superstar AJ Styles recently took to social media to send a message amid his absence from the Stamford-based promotion. The Phenomenal One has not been seen on television since June 2024.

Styles last competed on WWE television at Clash at the Castle Premium Live Event, where he failed to capture the Undisputed WWE Championship against Cody Rhodes in an I Quit match. Since then, The Phenomenal One has wrestled in several bouts on different house shows but has not competed on TV.

According to reports, AJ Styles' contract is set to expire soon and there are no updates on when the 47-year-old will return to television.

Amid his hiatus from WWE, Styles took to X/Twitter to react to his throwback segment alongside wrestling legend Ric Flair, during his time in TNA. The Phenomenal One is a man of few words when it comes to social media, and he reacted with only a laughing emoji this time as well.

Konnan is not a big fan of WWE's treatment of AJ Styles and The O.C.

During an edition of Keepin' It 100 OFFICIAL, Konnan said that he believed it was extremely weird how World Wrestling Entertainment has been treating AJ Styles, Karl Anderson, and Luke Gallows.

The wrestling veteran highlighted how the Stamford-based promotion brought them back together but still never used them properly as a team.

"I haven't heard anything on them. I would have to ask," Konnan said, regarding the status of AJ Styles and The Good Brothers. "It's weird because they made a big deal out of them and then they never really used them. And then they separated, then they brought them back together, then they didn't use them again."
