Alexa Bliss expresses gratitude after being involved in major project outside WWE
Alexa Bliss hasn't competed in a WWE ring since January 2023 due to maternity leave. However, she was recently involved in a major project outside of wrestling.
The Queen of Villains is a newly released Netflix series that follows the story of Dump Matsumoto, who overcomes adversities to become one of the biggest heels in Japanese wrestling history. The series stars Erika Karata, Yuriyan Retriever, and Ayame Goriki in prominent roles.
Another big name involved in the project was Alexa Bliss. The former RAW Women's Champion did voiceover work for Maki Ueda in this Netflix series. The WWE star recently took to social media to express her gratitude for participating in this project.
"I am BEYOND thankful and honored for this amazing experience. 🙏🏻 I had THE BEST time working with @therealtimmyred on my first voiceover project! You were so helpful & patient with me (especially with the singing 😂) thank you @kylepuccia ! - I’m just so honored to have voiced for Maki Ueda on this incredible series. Thank you so much @netflix - this was truly so fun. I LOVED every second of “The Queen of Villians” And I know you will too. 🖤 #thequeenofvillains is available NOW on Netflix!" she wrote.

Nia Jax wasn't expecting to beat Alexa Bliss at WrestleMania 34
Nia Jax and Alexa Bliss had a heated feud in 2018, which culminated in a match at WrestleMania 34. At The Biggest Show of the Year, Jax came out on top, winning the RAW Women's Championship.
During a recent interview with Screen Rant Plus, Nia Jax recalled her match against Bliss, stating that she wasn't expecting to win at WrestleMania 34.
"I think when I first won the title, it was a great moment against Alexa Bliss. We had that amazing storyline, and I wasn't expecting to win that one. So, it was more of a shock to me. And, it was during the time where we had Ronda [Rousey] coming in, and there were so many factors going on. So, I didn't really get to soak it in. I feel like this one [her current WWE Women's Champion win] has meant so much more to me," Jax said.
It will be interesting to see when Alexa Bliss returns to the WWE after a year of absence.
