Alexa Bliss hints imminent WWE return in latest update

WWE Superstar Alexa Bliss has teased her return to television in a recent social media post. She has been absent from the wrestling promotion since January 2023.

The 33-year-old's last in-ring appearance was at the Royal Rumble 2023 Premium Live Event. The former Women's Champion lost a title match to Bianca Belair at the PLE. Bliss took a break from professional wrestling to focus on her pregnancy and welcomed a baby girl on November 27.

Ever since the Stamford-based promotion started dropping teases regarding The Wyatt Sicks' debut, wrestling fans began speculating that Bliss would make her return as a part of the mysterious faction. The group made its first television appearance on the RAW following Clash at the Castle in June. However, Alexa Bliss has yet to return to television.

The former Women's Money in the Bank winner took to her Instagram account earlier today to tease her return to the squared circle. She posted a picture of herself with a message hinting at her much-anticipated comeback.

"Don't worry, Darling. I’ll see you soon enough 🖤," she wrote.

WWE Superstar Alexa Bliss opens up about the importance of taking time away from wrestling

Alexa Bliss has been away from professional wrestling for over one and a half years. Following The Wyatt Sicks' debut, several fans have been eagerly waiting for Bliss to make her WWE return.

In an interview with The Messenger, The Goddess stressed the importance of taking some time away from professional wrestling. She stated that it gives the superstars the time to be missed by the fans. Bliss pointed out that a break from the business plays a major role in longevity as it allows performers to evolve their character.

"Time away and reinventing a character, and evolving yourself is the key to career longevity at WWE. So I always say time away is such a good thing because it gives people the time to miss you. When you’re being seen on WWE [TV] three or four times an episode, you don’t really have anywhere to go with your character. So whenever you take time off, it’s always a good time to evolve and to keep going," she said. [H/T: The Messenger]

Alexa Bliss was involved in the storyline featuring Uncle Howdy and Bray Wyatt before The Eater of Worlds had to be taken off television due to illness. With Howdy and his faction already becoming an integral part of RAW, it remains to be seen what plans the creative has in store for Bliss.
