"All I ask is that you quit" - Xavier Woods shares major update amid speculation of WWE future
Xavier Woods' behavior on WWE RAW has been quite questionable for the past few weeks. The 38-year-old star has had some visible issues with his New Day teammate, Kofi Kingston, for quite some time now, and he has been teasing a heel turn every week.
The latest episode of WWE RAW featured Woods and Kingston defeating the Authors of Pain to advance in the number-one contender's tournament for the World Tag Team Championship, courtesy of some assistance from R-Truth.
However, while The Final Testament and The Miz unleashed an attack on Truth, Woods did not want to help the 52-year-old veteran. Not only that, but Xavier also prevented Kofi Kingston from helping the former United States Champion. The Wyatt Sicks then made an appearance to save the day for Truth.
Following his actions on WWE RAW, Woods took to Instagram and addressed the speculations that The Wyatt Sicks was coming after him next. The 38-year-old star also sent a message to fans, asking them to use logic instead of their heart.
"But I felt like it made sense to go ahead and put this to rest because I see people saying that The Wyatt Sicks are going to be coming after me because of the way I've been moving these past few weeks…before you spout these random theories about who you think is coming after who, all I ask is that you quit using this and start using this, because that’s what I'm doing, and I would—I would love it if you would do your best to meet me there," Xavier Woods said.
Will The New Day split up in WWE?
With the increasing tensions between Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston and the constant teases of a heel turn from the former, it might be possible that The New Day is on the verge of splitting up.
While the faction has been pretty dominant for more than a decade now, things seem to go sideways with a difference in opinion of both men. Although Big E has been out of action for quite some time now, the 38-year-old star making an appearance to try to keep both men together would be a great storyline.
Fans will have to wait and see what WWE has in store for the faction next.
