Another ECW legend's appearance teased for upcoming WWE show

WWE is looking to build a top lineup for the upcoming NXT show at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, formerly the ECW Arena. A few top names have already been revealed for the massive show, and WWE may have teased another legend’s appearance.

Nunzio, an ECW legend who also led the Full Blooded Italians, was a top name in the business in the 1990s and 2000s. He worked with the Stamford-based promotion until 2008 before moving to the independent circuit.

On the latest edition of NXT, Shawn Spears and Books Jensen confronted The Family backstage. Their interaction was cut short once Tony D’Angelo received a phone call from Nunzio.

The segment was likely built to make a connection between the two Italian stars. D’Angelo is the current NXT North American Champion, and he could show up on next week’s show with the ECW legend by his side.

WWE could even use the former leader of the Full Blooded Italians to manage Tony D’Angelo’s family on NXT for some time. It will add more fuel to the faction, allowing them to get ahead on the roster even quicker.

WWE NXT in Philly will host a few ECW legends

NXT General Manager Ava revealed that Lola Vice will face Jaida Parker in a Hardcore Match at the upcoming show in Philadelphia. That’s not all, as the legendary Dawn Marie will officiate the match.

Marie is one of the biggest names announced for the upcoming show at the old ECW arena. Bubba Ray Dudley also impacted NXT Halloween Havoc and finally accepted the opportunity to tag with Trick Williams to face Ethan Page and Ridge Holland on next week's show.

Additionally, Rob Van Dam made his presence felt on the latest edition of NXT. He confirmed that he will be a part of the show at the 2300 Arena, possibly to officiate the match between Wes Lee and Je’Von Evans.
