Asuka shares potential return tease ahead of WWE RAW
Asuka shared a potential return tease ahead of tonight's edition of WWE RAW. This week's episode of the red brand will air live from Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
The veteran has not competed in a match since WWE Backlash in France. The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane) dropped the Women's Tag Team Championship to Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair at the Premium Live Event.
Ahead of tonight's episode of RAW, the Damage CTRL member took to Instagram to share a cryptic message. She promoted her merchandise along with her theme song playing in the background, and you can check out her Instagram post below.
Asuka is currently recovering from a knee injury and recently made an appearance during the company's tour of Japan. Her Damage CTRL stablemates, IYO SKY and Kairi Sane, will be competing against The Unholy Union and Pure Fusion Collective tonight on RAW in a Triple Threat match for the Women's Tag Team Championship.
Former WWE star reacts to Damage CTRL turning babyface on RAW
NWA Champion EC3 recently discussed Asuka's faction turning babyface on WWE RAW.
Damage CTRL debuted as heels at SummerSlam 2022. Bayley was formerly the leader of the faction, but they betrayed the veteran after she won the Women's Royal Rumble match earlier this year. The group has seemingly turned babyface in recent weeks and have the chance to capture the Women's Tag Team Championship tonight.
Speaking on a recent episode of Sportskeeda's The Wrestling Outlaws, EC3 commented on the group becoming babyface. He shared that he had met Damage CTRL members in real life, and they were very friendly.
"To be fair, from every encounter I have had with them, they are nothing but the sweetest gals. They are kind, they are friendly, they light up the day. They are very wide-eyed and bushy-tailed and just fun to be around." [2:38 onwards]

Damage CTRL member Dakota Kai recently suffered a torn meniscus and will be out of action for a while. It will be interesting to see who walks out of WWE RAW as the Women's Tag Team Champions later tonight.
