"Attempted murder" - WWE legend reveals Stone Cold Steve Austin once shocked the entire locker room
A WWE legend recently shared his reaction to one of Stone Cold Steve Austin's most iconic moments. Gerald Brisco recalled what it was like to be in the ring when The Texas Rattlesnake came into the arena riding a Zamboni.
Speaking on the latest episode of the What Were They Thinking? podcast with JBL and Joe Lowry, Brisco was asked about Austin ramming the Zamboni into the ring when there were a lot of people in it.
The episode, which is available on Sportskeeda's Backstage Pass, discussed the most outrageous storylines and moments involving vehicles. It was mostly done during the Attitude Era when stories were violent since "attempted murders" can be seen on television.
"You talk about attempted murder, Stone Cold didn't get a lot of practice driving a Zamboni and even rehearsal time, there's not a lot of room to go out there because the ring is set up. … All Steve really had practice doing was starting the thing and shutting the damn thing off and aiming at the right direction. … He takes out the lighting fixture. All of us guys in the ring, 'Oh, no.' We know he can't drive the thing. We were all worried (laughs)," Brisco said.

After ramming the Zamboni into the ring, Stone Cold Steve Austin jumped and attacked Mr. McMahon before getting arrested by the police. It was one of the most iconic moments of Stone Cold's career, as well as the entire Attitude Era.
JBL opens up about the boys being "jealous" of Stone Cold Steve Austin
In the same episode of What Were They Thinking?, JBL was asked about the reaction of the boys in the locker room after Stone Cold Steve Austin's Zamboni segment. The Wrestling God revealed that the boys were jealous of Austin being able to drive cool vehicles at the time but all of them were thankful to him for making them rich.
"We were jealous because Steve got to have all the fun. We love Steve. Steve was selling out every building in the world. Steve Austin got so hot when you put his name on any building in the world that thing's sold out. It's not like we're saying, 'Hey, that should be us.' Heck, no. He bought us all homes. He bought as all cars. Steve made a fortune for all of us. But we're sitting there thinking, 'I'd love to do that.' He got to drive everything that came in," JBL said.
Throughout his run, Stone Cold Steve Austin was able to drive a variety of unique and crazy vehicles. From a Zamboni to a forklift to a monster truck limousine to a cement mixer truck, it was a wild ride for the WWE legend.
