Audio recording reveals more details on the arrest of Nikki Bella's husband Artem Chigvintsev - Reports

The saga surrounding the arrest of Nikki Garcia's (formerly Nikki Bella) husband Artem Chigvintsev continues to unfold as more details have emerged. An audio recording by TMZ has revealed some rather shocking new information.

Artem, the husband of Nikki Garcia (formerly Nikki Bella), was arrested as there were reportedly visible marks on the WWE Hall of Famer's face. Their four-year-old son Matteo was also present in Napa County, California, with them. The Dancing With The Stars star was released on bail after paying $25,000. Nikki's spokesperson issued a response asking for privacy at this time.

New details have emerged about the case and the 911 call that was made. The 911 call (obtained by TMZ) refers to Artem Chigvintsev as "RP" (Reporting Party). In the call, it's stated that Artem was the one calling 911 for a medical issue but called them back to wave the ambulance service off. While the medical personnel turned back, the police did eventually get involved.

It was also reported that Nikki threw a shoe at her husband Artem, and whether it was out of retaliation or not, Nikki seemingly had visible marks, which is why the police were obligated to arrest Artem.

TMZ went into much more detail about the incident and revealed that their relationship had been rocky even as far as a few years ago. Back in 2021 on Off The Vine with Kaitlyn Bristowe, Nikki Garcia revealed that both she and Artem were already in therapy for what appeared to be anger issues. The erstwhile Nikki Bella stated (at the 3:57 mark of the video below) that it makes her feel "off" when he doesn't realize his tone.

It remains to be seen how the investigation pans out and whether any other details come to light regarding the matter.
