Austin Theory and Grayson Waller nearly come to blows at WWE show; split continues to be teased
Another Austin Theory and Grayson Waller split was teased at a WWE show. Both men nearly attacked each other after having previously teased breaking up.
Austin Theory and Grayson Waller came together earlier this year and formed a team called A-Town Down Under. Since becoming a team, they were successful initially and even won the SmackDown Tag Team Championship at WrestleMania 40, which eventually became the WWE Tag Team Championship.
However, things haven't seemingly gone well between them in recent months. Often, it seems like Waller uses Theory as a scapegoat. The latter also seems to end up on the receiving end of a beatdown because Waller can't keep his mouth shut. This has been highlighted several times by other WWE stars, including #DIY's Johnny Gargano.
However, the two of them have still managed to remain a tag team. Tonight on WWE NXT, A-Town Down Under had a chance to win the NXT Tag Team Championship when they faced Fraxiom. During the match, Waller and Theory nearly attacked each other in the ring by accident. However, they took a moment to recollect themselves and then attacked Nathan Frazier.
Soon after this, Axiom went for the Golden Ratio on Grayson Waller but he ducked out of the way and the former hit Theory instead. In the end, it was Fraxiom who retained their titles after a stunning win.
WWE continued to tease a split between Theory and Waller tonight. Many feel it's only a matter of time before the two finally come to blows and the team implodes.
