Austin Theory makes bold "two randoms" claim to insult the number one contenders for the WWE Tag Team Championship

The WWE Tag Team Champions Austin Theory and Grayson Waller are not worried about their new challengers, the Street Profits.

During the latest episode of SmackDown, the Street Profits took on the New Catch Republic, the Legado Del Fantasma, and the Authors of Pain in a Fatal Four-Way tag team showdown. The duo of Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford emerged victorious after hitting the Revolution on Angel and became the number-one contenders for the WWE Tag Team Championship.

WWE correspondent Byron Saxton caught up with the champions during a Digital Exclusive interview. The two stars were annoyed with Saxton for interrupting their photoshoot. Theory claimed that despite the Street Profits coming for their gold, nothing would change and they would hold on to the WWE Tag Team Championship for as long as they wanted.

"It's just still mindblowing to me that you interrupt us, the greatest undefeated tag team champions of all time. Brand new championships for the first time ever, nobody's ever had these. And then you come in here and you're talking about two randoms. Sure, sure, they got a number-one contender match, sure. But guess what's gonna happen. That and this, it's not gonna change. We're the champs and we're forever the champs. And the time that we put away these tag team championships is when we feel like it, when we wanna put them on the shelf, on a plaque in our house," Austin Theory said. [1:32 - 2:05]

What the future has in store for the A-Town Down Under remains to be seen.

Austin Theory and Grayson Waller defeated the Street Profits earlier

During the same discussion, Grayson Waller claimed that they had defeated Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford earlier and this time won't be any different. The Moment Maker detailed that he and Austin Theory would steamroll through the Street Profits and continue their WWE Tag Team Championship run.

"We said a few weeks ago when we beat them, that we are the smoke. So if they want the smoke, we got it for them. We are just gonna roll through them again. Undefeated tag team champions, this is gonna be a long time running. Roman Reigns' reign isn't gonna be anything close to ours," Grayson Waller said. [1:18 - 1:30]

Austin Theory and Grayson Waller finally got rid of Byron Saxton by calling security on him and ending the interview abruptly.

It will be interesting to see if the A-Town Down Under can retain their WWE Tag Team Championship against the Street Profits when the two groups meet.
