Austin Theory shares message after major WWE Smackdown defeat
WWE Superstar Austin Theory has shared an inspirational message on social media after losing a tag team match on the most recent edition of Friday Night SmackDown. Theory teamed up with Grayson Waller to lock horns with two multi-time champions on the show.
On last week's episode of the blue brand, Kevin Owens defeated Waller and Theory in a Triple Threat match. For this week's episode of SmackDown, the former WWE Tag Team Champions were scheduled to face KO and a mystery partner. The former Universal Champion made his way to the ring alongside Ricky Gibson, an independent wrestler, claiming his original partner had some travel issues.
However, before the bell was about to ring, Randy Orton's music hit, and The Viper strolled down the ramp to join Owens. The two veterans put forth an impressive performance to secure the win, marking yet another loss for A-Town Down Under. Despite being on a losing streak for over a month, Austin Theory took to his Instagram account to share an inspirational message, reflecting on his journey as a professional wrestler.
"I see it. In 2016, I had no roadmap, just a vision. No guarantees, but I knew one thing: I could make it happen. While others saw impossible, I saw opportunity. No luck, no shortcuts—just me putting in the work. I told myself I could do it and I did it. That’s what sets me apart ALL DAY!!!🚀 #ATownDown," he wrote.

Veteran journalist reveals his take on Grayson Waller and Austin Theory's WWE future
Amid WWE teasing a potential breakup of A-Town Down Under, veteran journalist Bill Apter suggested how the wrestling promotion should book Austin Theory and Grayson Waller.
During a recent episode of Smack Talk, Apter stated it would be better for the former tag team champions to split up and compete in singles competition. The veteran praised The Aussie Icon for his in-ring work, claiming the fans could get behind him if he turns babyface. He added that Theory is an incredible heel.
"Grayson Waller is a hell of a competitor. If he somewhere down the line turns babyface, I think we'd have a great character that the fans could really go for. Austin Theory is an incredible heel and he's not being used like they should use him in my opinion. Once again, he should be on the singles ratings right now. So, I see a breakup," said Apter. Considering WWE's recent teases, Austin Theory and Grayson Waller might soon become rivals. It remains to be seen who will come out on top if and when the two collide inside the squared circle.
