"Bad booking with bad luck" - Konnan questions 2-time WWE champion's run
The road to SummerSlam is heating up as WWE Superstars are securing a spot to compete at the event in Ohio. Meanwhile, Konnan questioned Karrion Kross' run on RAW.
Earlier this year, Karrion Kross' character evolved in the Stamford-based promotion when the two-time NXT Champion created his faction called The Final Testament alongside Paul Ellering and the Authors of Pain. After losing to Bobby Lashley and The Street Profits, the group was drafted to Monday Night RAW.
Speaking on the Keepin' It 100 podcast, Konnan and Disco Inferno discussed why Karrion Kross doesn't appear on premium live events. While answering the fan mail, the former WCW star questioned Kross' run on the main roster under the new regime. The veteran believes it could be bad luck with bad booking for the star.
"It's so weird 'cause he [Karrion Kross] did one or two matches with Rey [Mysterio], that was over. He did a couple of matches with Drew McIntyre, that was over. I know he doesn't have heat cause he's a model wrestler. He's an intelligent wrestler. He's a professional; he comes in on time. I don't know if it's bad luck or bad booking with bad luck. I don't know which one. It's very hard to say," Konnan said. [From 03:14oto 03:44]

The Final Testament has only competed at one WWE premium live event
Last year, Karrion Kross returned to the Stamford-based promotion after weeks of absence and competed on Friday Night SmackDown. The star quickly lost to Bobby Lashley, which kickstarted their feud for the coming months.
Later, Karrion Kross aligned with the Authors of Pain and formed The Final Testament. The newly introduced faction on WWE SmackDown feuded with Bobby Lashley, Angelo Dawkins, and Montez Ford for months to come.
It all concluded at WrestleMania XL when the two factions went head to head in a Philadelphia Street Fight. Bobby Lashley and The Street Profits won at WrestleMania, and The Final Testament appeared on WWE's developmental brand.
Later, Karrion Kross alongside his stable was drafted to Monday Night RAW. The faction is currently feuding with The New Day. After a vicious attack on the red brand, the villainous group put Kofi Kingston on the shelf for the time being.
