Finn Bálor is once again in the midst of a heated rivalry with a former Judgment Day member, which may blow up at WWE Bad Blood on October 5. Bálor will step into the ring to face Damian Priest. But first things first, The Prince and JD McDonagh will defend their World Tag Team Championship against The New Day tonight on RAW at Moda Center in Portland, Oregon.
Before the bout, Kofi Kingston took to Instagram and highlighted a baffling statistic that was brought to light by fans. The Irish duo has not defended the gold since they won it 84 days ago.
Kingston addressed the awful situation of the red brand's tag team division over the last two months. The former WWE Champion assured that The New Day would secure the World Tag Team Championship, which had seemingly been held hostage by The Judgment Day with zero title defenses.

For JD McDonagh, this reign is extra special as it marks his first title win in WWE. However, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods are at their best when contending for tag team gold. With years of experience and their remarkable run over the past decade, The New Day may finally win the championship tonight.
While the graphic the 43-year-old shared suggests that The Judgment Day has held the title for 71 days, Finn Balor and McDonagh have actually been champions for 84 days. They secured the championship on June 24, 2024.

At SummerSlam on August 3, Finn Bálor hit right where it hurt. Damian Priest was deeply affected by The Prince's betrayal, as the two were part of The Judgment Day since 2022.
