Batista's final WWE run began in 2018 when he reunited with Evolution on SmackDown's 1000th episode. This led to him challenging Triple H to a match at WrestleMania 35.
At The Grandest Stage of Them All, Triple H and Batista faced one another in a No Holds Barred Match with The Game emerging victorious. This was The Animal's final match, as he later announced his retirement from professional wrestling.
Trish Stratus opened up about her latest WWE run
Trish Stratus recently admitted that she wanted her latest run in the Stamford-based promotion to be different. The WWE Hall of Famer claimed she originally did not plan a six-month run with the company.
While speaking with Inside The Ropes, the former WWE Women's Champion stated that she wanted to challenge herself as a performer and turn heel.
"I felt like I’d done the babyface comeback. They’re fine, but I don’t want to wear out my welcome. I said, if I go back, I’d like to surprise people and do it a little differently. I thought as a performer, I would like to challenge myself and do a heel run because I hadn’t touched that for so many years. It was 18 years since I did a heel promo. So Becky called me and said, 'Do you want to come back and do a match with me at WrestleMania?' But we needed me to come back and turn first," Trish Stratus said.
Trish Stratus finished her latest WWE run with a loss to Becky Lynch in a Steel Cage match at the 2023 Payback Premium Live Event.
