Bayley breaks silence on emotional John Cena WWE retirement

WWE Superstar Bayley recently gave her thoughts on heartbreaking John Cena retirement announcement. The Cenation Leader will hang up his boots at the end of 2025.

The 16-time World Champion is one of the biggest stars in the world of professional wrestling. After achieving everything in World Wrestling Entertainment, Cena has broken several hearts by announcing his retirement, highlighting that his final run will be in 2025.

The current WWE roster has a lot of admiration for John Cena, with many stars, including Cody Rhodes and Bayley, wanting to emulate what The Cenation Leader achieved in his more than two-decade-long career.

During an interview posted on YouTube by Ten Count Media, The Role Model was asked about Cena's WWE retirement announcement. The former Damage CTRL member said she had a lot of good memories with the 16-time World Champion.

Bayley also mentioned that during John's run in 2023, she had several good conversations with him, and her favorite part was observing how Cena's attitude was with everyone around him.

"I have a lot of good memories with him because he's so open and he's so approachable. So I've had a lot of, [during] his last run, I had a lot of good talks with him luckily. But I think just me observing him has been my favorite. Observing how he approaches the locker room and our bosses. And watching him watch every single match and have feedback for everyone if they ask. That's probably been my favorite because I hope to be in that spot one day. Umm, he's just an awesome guy to learn from and we're so lucky to have someone like him around," she said. [0:08 - 0:48]

"I was a little nervous when I first started cause I thought I would get a lot of female [John] Cena comments, which is the best compliment I could ever get in that character, you know, but I also was like, 'Uhh, I want to try different things,'" she said.
