Bayley gets honest about her role in WWE (Exclusive)

WWE Women's Champion Bayley recently opened up about how she views herself among the top female stars in the wrestling industry.

Bayley signed with WWE in 2012 after wrestling on the independent scene for four years. Since joining the main roster in 2016, the 34-year-old has held four world titles and the tag title twice with Sasha Banks. She also won the 2019 Money in the Bank Ladder Match and the 2024 Women's Royal Rumble.

In an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda Wrestling Senior Editor Bill Apter, Bayley admitted she still has more work to do to reach the next level:

"I think this WrestleMania I've been saying, honestly, this year is gonna define my career. I just wanna keep growing, you know? I know I'm at the top level of when you think about women's wrestling, especially in WWE, but, to be honest, I don't think I'm at that level yet." [1:41 – 2:02]

"I wanna get on posters. I wanna be on The Tonight Show. I wanna be on Jimmy Fallon's show. I'm on The Apter Chat! That means I'm making my way, right? It's the first step. I guess I am doing pretty good." [2:03 – 2:17]

In the same interview, the former NXT Women's Champion predicted a winner between Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill if the two ever have a match.
