Bayley could leave Iyo Sky dumbfounded with a surprise twist in the Damage CTRL story, shares WWE legend (Exclusive)

The Damage CTRL saga moved along on WWE SmackDown as Bayley seemingly was deserted by her stablemates. During the latest Sportskeeda Wrestling's Smack Talk episode, the idea of Bayley taking Japanese classes was pitched, and Dutch Mantell loved the sound of it and how it could affect the story.

Despite being the creator and leader of the group, Bayley has gradually been losing power and influence, with the Japanese WWE trio of Iyo Sky, Asuka, and Kairi Sane possibly having different ideas regarding the faction.

Smack Talk co-host Rick Ucchino explained a scenario where Bayley has secretly been taking Japanese lessons and would catch Iyo Sky off guard by picking up everything she says in her native language.

Dutch Mantell felt it would be a hilarious and effective way for Bayley to find out about Sky's true intentions, as he noted on Smack Talk:

"'Now I know what you've been saying!' That would be good!" said Mantell. [51:00 onwards]

Dutch Mantell liked the general direction of Damage CTRL as the faction now felt relevant and part of an angle that could go different ways.

Mantell wouldn't mind seeing Sky turn on Bayley or the other way around and stressed that there was a good vibe coming off from the whole story.

The wrestling veteran continued:

"Well, I think they've opened a lot of doors with that group. I do think she should either turn on them or they can turn on her, but sometimes, you've just got to wait and see what they do. It has got a good vibe around it right now, so they can do a lot of stuff. I do like (Bayley) not knowing the language and taking the Rosetta Stone." [51:23 - 52:00]

Bayley suffered a massive loss against Bianca Belair on SmackDown this week, during which the lack of help from her Damage CTRL friends was apparent. WWE is seemingly planting the seeds of a turn, and at this point, it seems most likely that Damage CTRL will betray their leader to begin a new era.
