Bayley reacts to major milestone after WWE SmackDown

Bayley had a fantastic year as the WWE Women's Champion on Friday Night SmackDown until she dropped the title to Nia Jax. Recently, The Role Model reacted to a major milestone regarding her career in the company as a competitor.

Over a decade ago, Bayley signed with the Stamford-based company and started her career on the developmental brand. Later, the former hugger made her way to WWE's main roster and became the longest-reigning SmackDown Women's Champion in the promotion's history.

Today, an interesting statistic showed up regarding Bayley's career in the company, which stated that The Role Model recently competed in her 1000th match in the promotion. The former RAW Women's Champion reacted to the milestone on X/Twitter and wrote a message.

"I don’t know how real or accurate this is but….whoa. 😌," Bayley wrote.

According to Cagematch, the star has crossed 1000 matches. However, the post could indicate that this milestone specifically caters to Bayley's character as she had a few tag team matches on NXT live events before the birth of The Hugger.

Bayley is set to face Naomi on WWE SmackDown

Earlier this year, Nia Jax re-established herself as a force to reckon with on the main roster. She won the inaugural Queen of the Ring Tournament and earned a shot to face Bayley for her title at SummerSlam.

The Irresistible Force defeated The Role Model to win the WWE Women's Championship with the help of Tiffany Stratton. A few weeks later, Bayley returned to the brand and stopped The Buff Barbie from cashing in her MITB briefcase.

On the recent edition of Friday Night SmackDown, Bayley and Naomi pinned The Irresistible Force together to win the match. However, a clear winner wasn't determined for the champion's next challenger.

Later, Nick Aldis confirmed that Bayley will go one-on-one against Naomi and the winner will face Nia Jax for the WWE Women's Championship in Atlanta at Bad Blood 2024. It'll be interesting to see which women will secure a title match.
