Bayley reveals major plans for potential WWE reunion; AEW stars and former champion absent for 370 days involved
Bayley is one of the most influential and hard-working women talents on the roster. She was famously part of a fan-favorite group of stars known as the 'Four-horsewomen' of WWE. While Sasha Banks (now known as Mercedes Mone) is no longer a part of the company, a storyline between the four-horsewomen is still a dream for millions around the world.
Bayley, Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, and Sasha Banks have had numerous tag team matches involving each other in the past. However, a dream Fatal Four-Way match between them has never taken place. Among the four, Bayley is the only active star on the WWE roster currently, with Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch out of action and Sasha Banks moving on to AEW now.
In a recent episode of Going Ringside, the former WWE Women's Champion addressed a potential match with her fellow horsewomen. The WWE star stated that a match between them was bound to happen sometime in the future. However, she noted that she was happy with the tag team matches they had had in the past, especially if the future doesn't bring another match between them.
"I would love that. Since we never got it, we had a couple of tag matches in Madison Square Garden, which, like, I could be happy with that if it never did happen. I just think the wrestling world is too magical for it not to happen," Bayley said. [9:00 onwards]
Bayley addressed staying in NXT after the other three women were called up
While the four women were always seen together as the future of the industry, Bayley was the last to get called up to the main roster. Addressing the same during her interview on Going Ringside, the former NXT Women's Champion stated that it helped her learn a lot about leadership in the women's division.
“It’s really crazy. I think that I’m super lucky to have come in at a time (...) When Sasha, Becky, and Charlotte got called up, I was still in NXT for a year, and I think even that year in NXT taught me a little about leadership because, at that point, I was the champion and I had been there the longest. (...) I really think that year of me not being on RAW and SmackDown helped introduce the NXT girls without me having to do it,” she added. [9:54 onwards]
While a potential reunion between the four women for a massive Fatal Four-Way match continues to be a dream for millions around the world, fans will have to wait and see if it comes to reality any time in the future.
