Bayley says 36-year-old WWE star is a "living legend" despite huge loss on SmackDown
Bayley may not get along with everyone on the SmackDown roster, particularly Bianca Belair, but she has proven to be a great friend when she has the opportunity. Despite the major loss, she called the 36-year-old WWE star a living legend. This was SmackDwon's Naomi.
Bayley might technically be a Grand Slam Champion for now, but it appears as though that status could change after the introduction of the Women's United States Championship. She pinned B-Fab in a match also including Candice LeRae to qualify for the second round of the US Title tournament that will culminate at Saturday Night's Main Event in a month.
She has also been supporting her best friend on SmackDown, Naomi in her title pursuit. The 36-year-old star was unsuccessful in capturing the WWE Women's Championship tonight, but this year's Royal Rumble winner went on to call her a living legend:
Naomi had the odds stacked up against her on SmackDown and although her main ally came out to help, it wasn't enough. Even Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill were taken out backstage by the duo of Raquel Rodriguez and Liv Morgan.
All indications seem to hint at WarGames being the direction for the stars involved tonight.
For the Grand Slam Champion Bayley, her focus will likely be on obtaining the only championship that she hasn't won. Although there are two titles in NXT that she hasn't won yet, both were introduced years after her main roster debut.
