Bayley shares rare personal update following WWE SmackDown

Bayley had an amazing start to 2024 in WWE when she won the Women's Royal Rumble match. The Role Model has lately shifted her focus outside the ring and shared a rare personal update following Friday Night SmackDown.

Bayley has been known as one of the most selfless people in the Stamford-based company, as many stories are floating around about her good deeds for other wrestlers, or giving back to the community.

Recently, she shared a rare personal update where she was part of a toy drive during the holiday season and helped donate over 1000 gifts to foster youth in and around the Bay Area in California. Here's what she had to say:

"I’ve always loved bringing people together. Just last night ALONE, there were over 1,000 gifts donated to foster youth!!!!! Seeing my best friends and their kids, my cousins and mom, high school friends and former basketball teammates, my loyal wrestling fans, and the Bay Area community all in one place for a very special purpose was so beautiful to see. Thank you guys so much for your constant love and support. I’m in awe. And I’ll never forget last night 🤶🏼❤️," Bayley said.

Bayley wants to face top WWE name at WrestleMania

Bayley has done it all in the Stamford-based promotion in the past decade or so as a performer. Lately, The Role Model has moved away from the spotlight and is helping other stars if and when needed. However, the multi-time WWE Women's Champion wants to face one name in particular.

In an interview on Going Ringside, the former WWE RAW and SmackDown Women's Champion expressed her interest in going up against NXT Women's Champion Roxanne Perez at WrestleMania.

"I would like to probably work with someone from NXT if I can. I would have to go with Roxanne [Perez] because she's killing it as the NXT Women's Champion. She's so smooth, and I'm selfish like I know everybody wants to work with her. I'm selfish, and I want to get her first 'Mania match. I think that would be really special, and we're really tight friends. So, I would love that," Bayley said. (From 08:25 onwards)

The two previously crossed paths in a six-woman tag team match on WWE SmackDown in 2022. However, their paths have changed drastically following their last encounter.
