Bayley shows off unfortunate effects of recent WWE travel schedule
The grueling WWE schedule is an unfortunate part of being a RAW or SmackDown Superstar. While the number of annual dates has been reduced in recent years, the rosters still work multiple weekly events. Bayley just shared an interesting look at how the hectic schedule impacts just about everything in the life of a Superstar.
The Role Model has wrestled around 1100 matches in her career, going back to 2008. A member of WWE's Four Horsewomen, Bayley joined the Stamford-based promotion in December 2012 and quickly found success. She went on to become the company's first Women's Triple Crown Champion and its first Women's Grand Slam Champion.
Bayley took to her Instagram Stories today before taping up her ring-worn boots. The 35-year-old made light of the wear-and-tear with a Pac-Man graphic, pointing to how the boots are in poor condition due to many matches.
"Lots and lots of matches [laughing face emoji]," Bayley wrote.
Bayley is on the current UK tour, where she came up short against Women's Champion Nia Jax in a Street Fight on the first two nights. These non-televised matches are taking place after Bayley failed to dethrone Jax at the Bad Blood PLE on October 5.
WWE SmackDown updated lineup for this week
World Wrestling Entertainment will return to the Colonial Life Arena in Columbia, South Carolina, for Friday's SmackDown. The episode will feature more build for Crown Jewel.
Bayley is set to appear on SmackDown for a potential look at what's next for The Role Model after her Bad Blood loss to Nia Jax. Below is the updated lineup for Friday night:
- Best Of Seven 3-3 Tiebreaker: Andrade vs. Carmelo Hayes
- Los Garza vs. new tag team TBA
- Randy Orton will appear
- Roman Reigns will appear
- Bayley will appear, plus advertised appearances by Cody Rhodes, LA Knight, Jade Cargill, Bianca Belair, and Solo Sikoa
WWE is expected to add to the Crown Jewel card on SmackDown as well. The only matches confirmed for November 2 as of this writing are Nia Jax vs. Liv Morgan for the inaugural Women's Crown Jewel Championship and Gunther vs. Cody Rhodes to crown the inaugural Crown Jewel Champion.
