Bayley wants WWE to consider her for historic match

WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H often cites current Women's Champion Bayley as one of the Greatest Of All Time, and rightly so. She has worked hard to build not only herself but many talents in the company.

A few months after rewarding The Role Model with a Royal Rumble and WrestleMania win, a historic moment took place in World Wrestling Entertainment: TNA Knockouts World Champion Jordynne Grace worked a match against NXT Women's Champion Roxanne Perez at NXT Battleground in Las Vegas.

Speaking to Cultaholic recently, Bayley discussed WWE opening the doors to the possibility of collaborating with other wrestling promotions. She revealed that upon hearing the news of Grace's arrival, she contacted Triple H and Shawn Michaels, requesting them that she be part of the show as well.

"It really didn’t hit me that it was possible until I saw Jordynne Gracecome out on NXT. And immediately, text Hunter [Triple H], text Shawn, and I wanted to be at the show. I’m like, 'you know what, I would love to be in the front row for this. It’s a historic match.' And just to kind of get my face out there, like, 'Hey, I’m watching. I’m the champion. Can you consider me if we ever do these, you know, something with TNA?' I would love to do that just because it’s different."

Roxanne Perez retained her title against the Knockouts World Champion at NXT Battleground.

As for Bayley, she successfully defended the Women's Championship against Scotland's own Piper Niven in Glasgow this past weekend, despite Chelsea Green's repeated attempts at assisting Niven.

Bayley further spoke about possibly wrestling in Japan as a WWE Superstar

It is a known fact that Bayley has friends in other promotions. Perhaps her most important mate is Mercedes Mone, formerly Sasha Banks in WWE. The Role Model recently opened up about how much she misses Mone but also feels that it is better this way because they still keep in touch and help each other do better.

In the aforementioned interview, the Women's Champion talked about possibly wrestling for Marigold, or even in Japan:

"It’s such a cool time in the business. And I think doing things like that. It’s just such unpredictability that gets people excited in different ways, you know, and so I would love to do something like that, Marigold. Rossi, I’m down. Let me know. I wrestled in Japan a couple of times. But with WWE. I got invited to go to Japan right before I got signed, but I couldn’t do it. If there’s a will, there’s a way, right?"

As of this writing, it appears Bayley has a storm coming her way as Queen of the Ring winner Nia Jax is guaranteed a Women's Championship match at SummerSlam. It's also worth noting that anything can change between now and The Biggest Party of the Summer, especially with Money in the Bank taking place before it.
