Becky Lynch admits it was ''probably very insensitive'' of her to break life-changing news to Seth Rollins before anyone else

Former Women's World Champion Becky Lynch recently recalled an instance when she felt she was "very insensitive" to Seth Rollins' feelings. The Man and The Visionary got engaged in August 2019 and tied the knot in June 2021.

During a recent interaction with former New England Patriots star Julian Edelman on the Games with Names podcast, Lynch discussed a variety of topics about her life and career. One of the highlights of her career was headlining WrestleMania 35 with Charlotte Flair and Ronda Rousey in 2019.

The Man revealed that Rollins was the first person she shared the news with. Reflecting on the past, Becky admitted that it was insensitive on her part, as The Visionary was also trying his best to headline The Show of Shows that year. Notably, Rollins defeated Brock Lesnar to claim the Universal Title at WrestleMania 35.

Later, Becky Lynch defeated Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair in a Winner Takes All Match for the RAW Women's Championship and the SmackDown Women's Title.

"I was driving from Buffalo, New York, to Boston. It was a six-hour drive. We had an early show, right? I was cruising, but I stopped, and I had like a little dance party in the car. And I told Colby [Seth]; I told my boyfriend at the time, now husband. He was the first person I told, which was probably very insensitive of me because he was also hoping to be the main event of WrestleMania that year," Lynch said. [1:08:53-1:09:32]

Becky Lynch puts Seth Rollins on her Mt. Rushmore of WWE stars

During the same interaction, Becky Lynch was asked to reveal her Mt. Rushmore of wrestling stars. Apart from naming herself, the former Women's World Champion included her husband, Seth Rollins, and 16-time WWE World Champion John Cena in her top-four.

However, Lynch didn't give a definitive answer for the fourth wrestler in her Mt. Rushmore, as she name-dropped several stars such as The Rock, Stone Cold Steve Austin, and Mick Foley.

Meanwhile, Becky Lynch has been absent from WWE TV since May 2024. Her contract with the Stamford-based company expired in June 2024. It will be interesting to see if she re-signs a deal with the promotion in the coming days.
