Becky Lynch almost made 25-year-old WWE star "cry" in the ring
Becky Lynch has been away from the WWE ring since June 2024. A top WWE Superstar recently talked about when The Man almost made her cry in the ring.
Tiffany Stratton has found great success on the main roster after a great run in NXT. The 25-year-old star has proven that she has a lot to offer in the ring to become a future top champion.
Becky Lynch took on Tiffany Stratton in an Extreme Rules match at NXT No Mercy in September 2023. The Man defeated Stratton to retain her NXT Women’s Championship.
Speaking to Metro UK, Miss Money in the Bank revealed she was close to tears at an important moment during the match. She noted that a strike on the head was too much for her.
"In the moment, I was like, 'Oh my God', when she hit me on the head with her hard hat and busted me open," she recalled. "That was like, 'Oh my gosh, I want to cry right now," Tiffany Stratton said. [H/T Metro UK]
Becky Lynch helped elevate Tiffany Stratton with some suitable NXT matches. She was one of the two women who benefited from Lynch’s move to the brand, with the other being Lyra Valkyria.
She is currently working alongside WWE Women's Champion Nia Jax. Fans are waiting to see when Stratton or Jax will turn against each other so the former can cash in her Money in the Bank contract to win her first major main roster title.
Becky Lynch could return at the 2025 WWE Royal Rumble
The Man has stepped back from the ring to take a break and focus on her family. She is one of the biggest female WWE stars of all time, and fans can't wait to see her return at some point.
While it's not clear whether Becky Lynch will return to the ring and when she will do so, fans are hoping to see her return for a few big matches next year. She could be one of the surprise entrants at the 2025 Women’s Royal Rumble match.
It would be great to see Lynch back to eliminate some top stars from the ring. She could also ignite a new rivalry during the contest, leading to a few great matches heading into WrestleMania 41.
