Becky Lynch competes for a major title in the last match of her WWE contract; Judgment Day interferes
Becky Lynch challenged Liv Morgan for the Women's World Championship in a Steel Cage Match in the main event of this week's RAW. Her contract is reportedly set to expire this weekend, which means this might've been her last match under her current deal.
During the bout, the champion tossed the challenger into the cage wall. Liv then slammed Becky face-first into the cage multiple times. The Man hit her with a series of strikes followed by a missile dropkick, which got a two-count. Becky Lynch sent Liv Morgan into the cage with two sliding kicks.
Liv tried to escape, but she was stopped. Becky took her down with a superplex and got a two-count. Liv nailed her opponent with a springboard codebreaker for another nearfall. Both women ended up fighting on top of the cage. Morgan then sent Becky crashing into the mat with a powerbomb.
Later on, Judgment Day's Dominik Mysterio showed up and opened the door to help Becky escape. Finn Balor and JD McDonagh came out as well to confront Dirty Dom about what he was doing.
Braun Strowman showed up and ran off Balor and McDonagh. While he was chasing them, he caused Dominik to slam the cage door into Becky Lynch's face. This allowed Liv Morgan to escape and retain her Women's World Championship.
