Becky Lynch might return to WWE at an upcoming major premium live event, predicts Chris Van Vliet

Becky Lynch is currently a free agent after leaving WWE after her contract expired. TV host and podcaster Chris Van Vliet recently predicted The Man's return date to the Stamford-based company.

The 37-year-old had an 11-year run in WWE, during which she became one of the company's top stars. However, she departed the promotion last June when her contract expired. Lynch last competed on the May 27 episode of Monday Night RAW when she lost to Liv Morgan in a Women's World Championship Steel Cage match.

Speaking on his Insight podcast, Van Vliet predicted that Becky Lynch would return at Royal Rumble. He claimed he would not be surprised if the former Women's World Champion showed up:

"I think that as we see those entrants coming out in the Women's Royal Rumble, I would have to think that Becky Lynch is gonna be part of that," he said. [29:18 - 29:28]

Chris Van Vliet also predicted the return of another WWE star at Royal Rumble

While Becky Lynch left WWE earlier this year, her historic rival and former best friend Charlotte Flair has been absent from television since December 2023 after suffering multiple serious knee injuries during a match against Asuka on SmackDown.

On the same episode of Insight with Chris Van Vliet, the podcaster predicted the return of The Queen at the 2025 Women's Royal Rumble:

"I also think, just mentioned it before, but I think Charlotte makes a return at the Rumble," he said.

Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair have previously won the Women's Royal Rumble. While The Man was victorious in 2019, The Queen beat 29 other female superstars to book her ticket to WrestleMania the following year. It will be interesting to see if either of them will be the winner of the 2025 Women's Royal Rumble.
