Becky Lynch opens up about life after WWE
Less than a week before Becky Lynch's WWE contract expired, she was Women's World Champion. Despite failing to defeat Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania XL, she won it on the April 22 episode of WWE RAW and held on to it for an entire month.
This may have been her last run with the top prize of World Wrestling Entertainment as it appears the Irish-born wrestler is done with professional wrestling. At least, for now.
During her appearance on Games With Names recently, Lynch was asked how things have been going in her household now that she has stepped out of the ring. Her husband, Seth Rollins, is still an active member and a top star of WWE:
"It's great. It's great. Everything is great. I have my wonderful little family. I have many options on the table. I get to, for the first time in a long time, get to take a breath to appreciate everything. When you're on the road 52 weeks a year, non-stop, going from town to town to town, and in the last three years I added to the chaos by having a daughter, who I would bring everywhere with me. On top of that, I decided it would be good to write my biography."
The Man stressed how it was chaotic during her final years in WWE, but now that it is in the rearview mirror, she gets to reflect on the positives:
"For the last year or two, it was pure chaos. Now, I'm taking a little bit more time. I'm taking a breath. Getting to look around the world. Getting to look at what I created and evaluate everything. It's been wonderful." [H/T: Fightful.com]
Current champion Liv Morgan defeated Becky Lynch at King and Queen of the Ring in Saudi Arabia to win the belt, then retained two nights later on WWE RAW's main event which was contested inside a Steel Cage.
Becky Lynch reflects on her relationship with WWE Superstar Seth Rollins
The power couple married in June 2021 after dating for a few years. They have a daughter Roux Lopez. Speaking to Ash Crossan of ET, Lynch recalled how she always looked forward to hanging out with Seth Rollins before they became an item as the latter was her comfort place.
She revealed little things that they did which eventually got her to fall in love with him:
"I feel like there was always a deep connection with him [Seth Rollins]. Like, there was always a bond. He used to tease me, but in a way that was so loving. I'd always run up to him and I'd tell him these stupid jokes and he'd tell me I was the worst and then we'd go our separate ways. But I would always look forward to seeing him so much. He was the person, if we had a joint pay-per-view [event], that I would look forward to seeing the most. I just loved hanging around with him."
Seth Rollins is currently embroiled in a feud with Bronson Reed on WWE's flagship show. Reed put Rollins out of action after brutally assaulting him last week and has proclaimed that the former World Heavyweight Champion will not survive him.
