Becky Lynch praises WWE legend for being a good human, says everything he touches 'turns to gold'

Becky Lynch is currently a free agent but continues to make appearances outside WWE. The Man recently discussed John Cena's upcoming retirement tour and praised the 16-time WWE World Champion for being a good human being.

Lynch has not appeared on WWE television since losing to Liv Morgan in a Steel Cage Match on the May 27th episode of RAW. Her contract officially expired on June 1 and she remains unsigned while taking a break from wrestling.

In an appearance on Julian Edelman's Games with Names podcast, Lynch was asked about her thoughts on Cena's career. She had nothing but kind words to say about the 47-year-old legend regarding his career inside and outside the squared circle.

"I mean he's just done everything fantastically well, you know? He's handled his wrestling career with such class and now his acting career and just everything he does just turns to gold. But he's just such a great human being. I think his mindset is always, like I always ask him about it. Because he's so level, he's so calm, he thinks deeply about things. He's always there if you need advice or whatever else. He just has time for people. He's just an all-around good dude," Lynch said. [From 01:18:24 to 01:18:57]

Becky Lynch previously teamed up with John Cena more than five years ago on the New Year episode of SmackDown in 2019. They defeated Andrade and Zelina Vega in a Mixed Tag Team Match.

Becky Lynch talks about her options as a free agent

In the same appearance on the Games with Names podcast with Julian Edelman, Becky Lynch was asked about her future. Lynch recently hinted about retirement but also confirmed that she has some options on the table as a free agent. However, for The Man, it's all about spending time with her family and enjoying the world.

"Everything is great. I have my wonderful little family. I have many options on the table. I get to, for the first time in a long time, get to take a breath to appreciate everything... For the last year or two, it was pure chaos. Now, I'm taking a little bit more time. I'm taking a breath, getting to look around the world, getting to look at what I created and evaluate everything. It's been wonderful," Lynch said. [From 06:18 to 07:09]
