Becky Lynch shares personal update; massive change possibly hinting at WWE future

Former WWE Women's World Champion Becky Lynch recently shared a personal update amid rumors of her return. The Man has not been seen in the Stamford-based promotion's programming since May 2024.

Lynch last competed inside the squared circle on the May 27, 2024, edition of Monday Night RAW, where she locked horns with Liv Morgan in a Steel Cage match for the WWE Women's World Championship. However, Big Time Becks went on a hiatus after failing to capitalize on this opportunity.

Amid her absence, The Man's WWE contract also expired in June 2024. As of writing this, there are no updates on whether she has signed a new deal with the company.

During a recent edition of Magic: The Gathering, Becky Lynch showed up to play Deck Yeah! with Xolo Mariduena. During the conversation, Xolo asked Becky if her daughter was into wrestling.

The Man revealed that her daughter was not into wrestling at all because it was "too loud" for her.

"No, god. No, no, she hates it. It's too loud for her. So she's been around wrestling since she was like a little baby, like a tiny little thing. And the Pyro is always going on and she loves playing around in the ring but she has no interest in watching. No interest," she said.

Lynch also shared a personal story about being a mother, mentioning that her daughter was loved, which was the most important thing to her as a parent.

"She told me the other day that dancing makes her insides sparkle. She's just wonderful. Like she's just amazing and she's three. And I think more than anything, you just always as a parent just wondering if you're doing it right, but she's fine. She's loved. I think the most important thing is she's loved, right? I think that's what gives you confidence," she added. [2:39 - 3:17]

However, it should be noted that the former Women's World Champion's WWE moniker was not used in the title of this video. Instead, they used her real name, Rebecca Quin. This has happened for the first time during her public appearance since May 2024, which could be a major hint at her future in the Stamford-based promotion.

Becky Lynch confirmed she was not retiring from WWE

During an interview at the Vulture Festival, Becky Lynch cleared the rumors of her retirement by saying that she wouldn't hang up her boots after getting slammed in the face by Dominik Mysterio with a Steel Cage door, referencing her Steel Cage match against Liv Morgan for the WWE Women's World Championship.

"If you think I’m gonna go out with Dominik slamming a cage door in my face that’s definitely not gonna happen," said Lynch.
