Bianca Belair debunks widely believed myth about her character in WWE; says it's a "real thing"

Bianca Belair has a unique move in her arsenal that she rarely uses in WWE, and that is the hair whip. Some people believe that the noise her long braid makes when she whips her opponent with it is somehow fake.

The EST of WWE's signature braid is a huge part of her character, and it makes her unique. She has used it as a weapon several times during a match, which has left her opponents bruised. In most cases, the multiple-time champion has used the hair whip to punish her opponents for pulling her hair in a bout or segment.

Speaking to Cody Rhodes on the latest edition of What Do You Wanna Talk About?, Bianca Belair clarified that WWE doesn't use sound effects for her hair whip, as all the noises that it makes are real.

"It's real. A lot of people think, even still to this day, they're like, 'they're adding sound effects. She put that in to make that noise.' Nope, there's no sound effects. And then there was Becky, she was the one that had all the marks on her stomach, and people swore up and down that it was makeup. 'Why would they put makeup on it?' I was like it's not makeup, it's real. So, yeah, the braid is a real thing. It has a mind of its own," said Belair. [4:50 - 5:22]

Bianca Belair on whether her hair is a heel or babyface

The EST of WWE mentioned in the interview that her hair's name is Destiny. She also admitted that it has a mind of its own.

When asked if Destiny is a heel or babyface, Bianca Belair said that it can be either one. She explained how differently it acts when it's a face and heel.

"It can be either. A lot of people don't know this, in NXT I was a heel. But I think as a heel, she can be a heel when she just starts hitting people for no reason, she starts tripping people and I really can't control it I'm like 'Girl why did you do that?' And she's like 'Cause I felt like it.' As a babyface, her number one rule is do not touch my hair. So when people touch it and all the girls wanna pull on it, then it's justified." [5:24 - 6:00]

Bianca Belair and her partner Jade Cargill are currently feuding with The Unholy Union and Blair Davenport.
